• THE FULL 4SV SERVICE YEAR, TOOL INCLUDED - Two sediment cartridges and two carbon blocks cover both scheduled changes, sediment and carbon at six months and the full set at the year, plus the T33 class inline for the tap and a housing wrench that opens stuck sumps without cracking them. Six pieces in one box.
• HOW THE STAGES WORK - The sediment cartridges go first and hold sand, silt, dirt and rust before they load the finer stages behind them. The carbon blocks follow and reduce chlorine along with the tastes and smells that ride with it, which also protects the membrane, since chlorine shortens membrane life. The GAC inline sits last, after the membrane and tank, and finishes the taste at the faucet.
• FITS THESE SYSTEMS - RO-TFM-4SV and 4SV class four stage reverse osmosis systems, and it replaces the cartridges sold as 5-PK-4SV annual kits. Also covers WP-4V, WP-5 and WP5-50 class positions and the Zero Waste system. All cartridges are the standard 10 inch size. The reverse osmosis membrane is not included; the 1812 position takes a 50 GPD element, available separately from the size selector on this page.
• MATCH THE FILTER TO YOUR WATER - Service intervals depend on what is in your supply and how much water you run. Well water or heavy sediment typically means changing sooner; light municipal use typically stretches the interval. Watch your flow rate and your TDS reading rather than the calendar.
